www.familyhandyman.com/list/13-things-to-stop-buying-thatll-save-you-tons-of-cash "Cut these routine purchases out of your life and you'll be amazed at how much money you can save...." My notes: Putting this in the Eco section 'cos it not only saves cash but good for our health & the environment. We don't use baggies. Have cloth napkins. Make own cleaning products. Have a clothesline. Don't do cards. Rarely buy new clothes or go out to eat. Can't find many organic places anyways.

There are some good ideas in there but I have to disagree with a couple. The name brand items can be a hit or miss depending on what that item is. Name brand baby clothes, for instance, can last through many different babies and still look practically new! But WalMart brand cheap clothes might not even last for a second child. I bought some name brand baby clothes at a rummage sale that the style was from the 70s but still looks top quality! Unbelievable

In-app purchases and cable television are things that I will never dish out money for, to be honest. Subscribing to one or two streaming services is enough for me.
