I do. We have way too many words that mean the same thing. Granted, some sound more articulate. ‘I’m elated’ sounds better than just ‘I’m happy’. I feel for those who have English as their second language. Even native speakers don’t know all the words in our language.

It's definitely wordy but it's probably not the only language. I'm currently looking into learning Spanish as a second language and it's very complicated. Probably a bit more than English
