www.vitacost.com/blog/how-to-reduce-plastic-waste/"9 Shockingly Simple Ways to Reduce Your Reliance on Plastics Americans generated more than 262 million tons of trash in 2015, including nearly 35 million tons of plastics. The plastics alone could fill about 2.7 million typical garbage trucks. Of all of that trash, only about one-fourth was recycled. And plastics made up only about 5 percent of the recycled trash. Unfortunately, we’re discovering that not all of the plastics and other garbage that are supposed to be recycled are actually being recycled...." My notes: This is a good read. Especially with what's going on now where more & more items are NOT being recycled unfortunately. Try not to focus on the recycling aspect but rather the reduce, reuse, & rethink.

I think replacing the plastic items with the non plastic ones often reduces the waste. So we have to find out means for doing the same. I know many people who are trying to do that in their business and reducing the plastic too.

There is no way you could stop using plastic, plastic is everywhere. You might use a glass water bottle but it is very likely that the lid would be made of plastic, You buy a bathing soap, the wrapper could be made up of paper, but there would be a plastic coating from the soap from catching moisture.

Best thing to do is recycle and use reusable containers. I used to get a lot of plastic water bottles, but I finally picked up a decent metal water bottle that I use daily, haven't used a plastic bottle in years. All the other plastics, I make sure to recycle as much as I can.

Here from July 1st onwards plastic is ban I mean the one time usable products. Their is no solution except banning and we have tried recyling, but of no use. spg, I totally agree with your words, just carry and use them when it required.
