I prefer standard. While I can understand military time, just easier to have a.m. & p.m. for me!

In some cases, 24 hours format is very useful.

I don't really have a huge preference for either of them. I can manage with both of them so I don't really have any complaints. It's slightly easier to just look at the military time though.

Yes, correct. For some, both have equal weightage.

I prefer standard time, although I can deal with military time if I absolutely have to.

24 hour time is very helpful while travelling. Especially between time zones.

I learned military time years ago when I learned how to read a binary clock. While I have forgotten how to read a binary clock I still know how to read military time. My watch uses military time for alarm clocks and I did the setting for that to read the time. My phone however I use standard time. I use both and one is not easier over the other.

I've been using the military 24 hours format for basically most of my life. I also use the standard 12 hours format as well, depends on what I'm doing. But to be honest, I don't have any preferences between those two.

That’s curious, I’d that a US thing? Where 24 hours is a ‘military’ thing? Where I’m from we use 24 hour time all the time as it’s just easier to read and understand (for me anyway haha).

I think most of us in the USA use Standard unless you were in the Military & it's called Military Time. I don't know if it's called that in other parts of the world.

Military time makes more sense. However, I'm used to regular time. I suppose, like the metric system, the whole of U.S. society should accept the more logical way of doing things.

I always set my clocks to 24h when I have the chance (and just to be truly contrary, and incredibly geeky , I have a script on my computer that gives decimal time as well). This of course sets me at odds with everyone else in the U.S., but what the hey, I don't really fit in with them anyway.

I prefer 24 hours time format, my phone clock is set for 24 hours. However, I use an analog watch that works in 12 hours format.

The military 24 hours is always cool when you hear them use in planning war strategies. I love it so much.

Standard cause it is easier to think about but maybe that is just because I am used to it.

I've never called it military but I do prefer the 24-hour clock. It's just easier to quickly figure out what time it is and it's less confusing in certain situations.

I prefer standard time myself, I honestly didn't know how to tell military time until I got my Gamecube when I was 14. :V I think it's interesting the Gamecube has it's time set to military time, but I think it's more of a standard in many other countries other than the US.

You're right about that when it comes to getting confused easily with the 24 hours format. If you're not very used to it, you will be telling the time wrong all the time.

I can read both of them without much effort, but I much rather have standard time since that is what most clocks are based on. Military time makes me have to think about what time it is to standard.
