healthypets.mercola.com/sites/healthypets/archive/2021/06/01/feline-cognitive-decline.aspx Story at-a-glance Cognitive decline in older cats is common, but it isn’t inevitable if you know what to look for and arrange for early intervention Classic signs of cognitive decline in kitties include increased vocalization, sleep/wake cycle disturbances, disorientation, and activity level changes It’s important to make an appointment with your veterinarian if you see any of the signs; your vet will do a thorough workup to check for underlying diseases that may be causing your cat’s symptoms There are many things you can do to prevent or forestall mental decline in your cat and ensure she remains happy and healthy throughout her golden years My notes: We have elderly cats. We just make sure we keep them healthy & spend even more time with them. Bob ellielo Emerald lainee lammchen lifespot safeinsanity @shaliza stluee topsilver twistedpingu

Sometimes it's hard to see it right away. Especially with cats. It's not like you walk them everyday like a dog. But it's always good to know your pet.
