I grew up in the ‘80’s & would definitely prefer that time. Today, kids don’t use imaginations, don’t play outside. Things are taken for granted a lot more IMO. Little things set people off. I think today’s era, people take & want more & expect things to be handed to them. We had a different work ethic when I was young. We took pride in our work. Now, kids get a star for just showing up at school.

I grew up through the 90s when music was amazing, MTV played music videos and reality TV wasn't much of a thing. We went outside to play until the streetlights came on, rode bikes, walked around the neighborhood etc. Nintendo was also just getting popular so, of course I had to have one. Today's kids seem spoiled, sheltered, and entitled to everything. They expect their parents to buy them their first cars, they think that since everyone has a phone, that means they have to have a phone. A lot of kids I meet nowadays have zero manners whatsoever. I'd rather go back and relive the 90s.

I prefer the times I grew up in the 80s. Life was a lot less complicated back then.
