I once made a joke to my husband that sometimes I feel like we're in an episode of Goosebumps, and we're stuck in this reality where our hell is the never ending load of laundry. There's always something to wash, dry, or fold. It literally never ends. As a matter of fact, I am sitting here and I can see the pile of clean clothes waiting to be folded in my peripheral view.
What's your typical laundry routine? Are you more disciplined than me and actually wash, dry, and fold all in the same day?

I did my laundry yesterday. Truth be told it's one household chore that I don't mind. The one I hate the most is making my bed. It ticks me off that I will wreak it again when I go to sleep later on, and I'll have to make it all over again the next day!

I usually can do it all the same day; sometimes, I slip, though :-)
And, then I finish it up the next day.

I don't use a dryer but hang up my clothes all year long so there's a few days in between washing them to them actually being dried. However, there's only 2 of us here. It can be different when you have a big family so there's not as much here.

To be honest, I hate doing laundry but I can't just let myself ignore it. My mom kept saying that I don't have to do everything alone but my father and sister usually wouldn't do much. So, it's up to my mom to do almost everything. So, I try to do as much as I can, to lessen the burden for her. Still, I can't help but make jabs at my dad and sister. I know it's rude but when you are working hard, then you just can't help it. We have 8 rooms now and every week, we try to change all the bedsheets, door curtains, window curtains and it's just hard to keep up with the laundry work at times. It feels like I will go crazy at this rate...but that's just how the life is for most of us

I am pretty lazy when it comes to folding the laundry. Once I've washed a couple of them, the next thing is to hang and use them as the day goes. I see laundry to be one Hell of a task. I prefer to cook, lol.

In the words of the Zen masters: "After enlightenment, there is still laundry."

I try to keep doing it on the same day every week, around the same time if possible, seems to make it less mundane and if anything try to view it as in, what happened this past week or what will happen by the time I do it this time next week? It's kind of dumb, but takes out the dread a bit of doing it.

It depends on my time schedule. When I am busy, I don't fold and store my laundry for days, they will be just lying on the floor for days. When I am free, I wash, dry, fold, and store in the same day.

I usually do my laundry every Saturday but still I'm always lazy in doing it. It's why I always ask my sister to come help me out and she will do everything that same day. She will wash, dry, iron and pack up everything.

It will end when you join a nudist camp.

I'm lucky my wife does this, i've never been very good at it. I do other jobs around the house instead.

It will end when you join a nudist camp. Yeah, Yeah!! At that point, you don't get to start worrying about putting on any clothes for you to wash them afterwards 😂. It's a nice plan eeeh 😂.

My husband will do the laundry and vacuum, empty dishwasher, wash floors etc, thank goodness he isn't a lazy man. More often than not I do the laundry though I guess it's just a habit now.
