I was running my online trivia game last night. Yep, it's me-on-the-hoof; I write all the questions and run the whole thing! You'll find it at atomictrivia.us - click on "Quarantine Version" for the online game. I run it on Mondays at 7pm Eastern time.
As an example, here are a few from the "easy" first round. Remember, it's a team game...so I don't mind making my questions a bit tough. But I do provide clues!
1. What NFL team did recording artist Marvin Gaye try out for in 1970?
2. Patsy's Pizzeria in New York City was the first to sell pizza in this fashion, in 1933.
3. What famous movie character had a radio call sign of "Red 5"?

1. Detroit Lions? 2. Cut in triangles? 3. I don't know. 1. Correct! He didn't make the team, but he made some friends among the players - some of whom came back to help him out by singing background on "What's Goin' On". 2. Essentially correct - they were the first to sell it by the slice. 3. All of the X-Wing pilots perform a radio check just before the attack on the Death Star. Luke Skywalker responds, "Red 5, standing by."

What 19th Century British criminal organization was named because of the way they wore their hats? (Hint: there's a TV show about them...) 3. What rap artist just opened a pasta restaurant called Mom’s Spaghetti?

1. Blitzkreig? 2. I don't know. 3. Eminem? 1. The German counteroffensive created a salient on the map from East to West...this shape caused American media to refer to it as The Battle of the Bulge. 2. This criminal gang in Manchester at the turn of the 20th Century wore peaked caps and often tilted them down over one eye. This gave them the name The Peaky Blinders. 3. Correct! From his song "Lose Yourself".

1. Have absolutely no idea. Casting bread on the water? 2. M&M’s. 3. Don’t know. 1. It does involve casting on the water...the tribute is more literal than bread, though. Either throwing coins into a fountain, or wishing at a wishing well. 2. Right! 3. Expo 2020 is in Dubai.
