healthypets.mercola.com/sites/healthypets/archive/2020/09/03/working-from-home-with-a-pet.aspx Story at-a-glance An estimated 42% of the U.S. labor force is working from home full-time — an unprecedented number triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic Your pet may become a time-consuming distraction when it comes to getting your work done on time, but proactive steps can make your home work environment harmonious Establishing a routine, making your office a pet-free zone and getting your pet’s energy out can be essential to a productive work day at home Watch for signs of boredom in your pet and provide lots of physical and mental stimulation to promote good behavior; a special treat or activity prior to a meeting can also give you some uninterrupted work time There are benefits to working from home with your pet, too, including reduced stress, increased exercise and a boost in happiness

There was an article about this topic on our news yesterday saying that many animals, mostly dogs, had gotten used to having their owners working from home during lockdown, but now that things are easing and people are returning to work the animals are suffering strongly with abandonment issues which is very sad
