healthypets.mercola.com/sites/healthypets/archive/2020/10/09/confused-dog.aspxStory at-a-glance Since dogs can’t tell us what it’s like to be a dog, there’s a very good chance we’re unintentionally confusing our furry BFFs or not always doing what’s best for them For example, dogs must learn to accept human handling; they also need to be socialized and exercised throughout their lives Dogs also appreciate having their own crate, along with a comfortable collar or harness All dogs need positive reinforcement behavior training, teeth and nail maintenance, and regular veterinary wellness checkups My notes: Another important reminder, treat dogs as DOGS. Yes, they are our furbabies but they are not tiny humans. They don't need to be in a doggie purse or stroller. Exception for carrying them is if it's a long walk & they are tired. But they are NOT a fashion accessory. That irks me so very much!

Aw, there is a lady who brings her dog to the county park for walks in a stroller. The dog was accustomed to going to the park all the time but when he got too old the lady still accommodated him with the luxury of a stroller when he could not walk. It is really sweet to see the love she has for her pet. So I don't mind strollers at all when there is a great need for them.

We've carried our elderly pets up & down steps & hills when they were struggling. But to do it for healthy pets is wrong.
