While it would be cool, I wouldn’t want to. I like having a home base. Plus RVs are really cramped.

The best place in my opinion to travel in an RV would be somewhere near a beach, probably Myrtle Beach, SC though Charleston wouldn't be that bad either. They are really expensive. My mother has the kind you have to haul somewhere that can't drive on it's own but beaches are a really good place to put one. I would chose Myrtle because it's a really popular beach.

Around our own country we traveled in an RV for 2 years but not around the world I wouldn't like.

No, not for more than a few days at a time. I like being firmly grounded too, and I would miss my cats terribly if I had to be away from them for long periods of time.

ZandraJoi, topsilver, T.T., Bob, We have camped and traveled in an RV, in the States, mainly to get from Point A to Point B:-) But never for more than 4-5 weeks. So, I wouldn't travel the world in an RV...as I also like having a home base and it can get a little cramped

Never liked the concept of using an RV. A caravan would be different.
