A lot of people are using the water containers and the water crafts for storing the stuff. Be it for the vegetables and the water. I think paper can be a good alternative to the plastic. And this can be pretty effective for the climate and the overall reuse of the stuff. I think more local people start to make use of the reusable stuff, the easier it becomes as well for later recycling.
Do you think paper crafts and wooden stuff can be reused in containers and other places?

Paper and cardboard are definitely more recyclable. And when they are unrecyclable they definitely are more biodegradable than plastics. Plastics really are a last resort. It takes a lot of petroleum based products to make plastic items, and many of them never get recycled. They are the worst for landfills as they do not biodegrade very well, and release more chemicals into the soil when they do break down. One time use plastics should definitely be done away with as these are the biggest offenders of waste and not being recycled.

I try to reuse containers, I have made a conscious effort not to buy plastic only when there is no other alternative.
