I tried to do this many times. But failed miserably. Well, no wonder. Everything is packed in plastic these days. It is really hard to avoid. Glass bottles are nowhere to be seen. I tried to used glass bottles for milk and related products. But I couldn't find them online or offline. As if they vanished.

It is hard! It's impossible to get away from all plastics. It's in everything & everywhere. This is where people get creative. For glass milk bottles, you can locate a local dairy farm & see where they get their bottles from. Our health food stores sell local dairy in glass. Antique shops would have them. Think outside the box & use other glass bottles or even jars. Even other materials. Tin, steel, ceramic. The key tho is to just keep trying. There's no failure when you try

I replaced plastic bags with cloth based bags a couple of months back. And it is very refreshing.

In this day and age, it's hard to get away from plastics completely. Even for a day or a week.

Also replaced plastic bags with cloth, and yes, it IS very refreshing:-) Makes you feel good...like you're 'doing something'.
But, that's so true, it's very difficult to switch over; everything is wrapped in plastic...everywhere...
We just have to keep trying our best...baby steps count too...lol

A lot of times it’s not a matter of being able to do it. Most people can’t afford to do it. Milk and plastic jugs are expensive enough, let alone glass.
