www.familyhandyman.com/article/how-to-make-your-laundry-more-sustainable"Laundry product consumers beware! From toxic detergents to polluting microplastics, learn how to spot imposters and make your laundry routine greener...." My notes: You can make your own laundry detergent by using baking soda, borax, essential oils, liquid castile. We have a clothesline room, aptly named lol, where I hang up clothes year round. Don't have to worry about the weather, bugs, critters. A thread from awhile ago: ClotheslineIncluded: Use Cold Water Use Less Soap Wash Items Less Often Choose Natural Clothing and Get a Microplastic Filter Use a Clothes Line Use Non-Toxic Laundry Products Ditch Dryer Sheets Choose New Appliances Wisely Don’t Get Greenwashed

I only use hot water when washing sheets/towels. I've purchased laundry sheets instead of using the pods or other laundry detergent.

Make your own soap or buy eco-friendly products. Use a clothesline. Don't just wash after wearing one time unless it's dirty.
