Don't know much about it...mostly that it's WAYYYY safer. And, pretty sure we have it here,at home.

Having things grounded is extremely important. We have it at work on all things electrical. It gives the electricity a path to take to go back to ground. It basically sends it into the ground. Houses have it built right into the breaker boxes.
