Flutes. Flutes shaped like those today have been used in orchestras since the mid 1800s. They were originally used as alternatives to oboes but now they are standard instruments. The Bullroarer. When I saw the didgeridoo, I was searching if it was what Crocodile Dundee used to make a "call". It's not.
"The Bullroarer Is an ancient musical instrument was. historically used for communicating over great. distances sometimes referred to as a bush telephone. More recently made famous by Mick Dundee alias."

Marches. There are many kinds of marches but two are the most common. The spirited military march by composer John Philip Sousa. The slower ceremonial march, by Sir Edward Elgar.
My notes: Have you been in a band or military that performed a march? Do you still remember it? I have been in a band but I cannot remember the march specificially.
