For those who don't know what they are: Here's the websiteI've been slowly building a few bricks, because I know I use a lot of plastic that I'm not currently able to cut down on. Its certainly an alternative to sending plastic to be recycled, especially with the recycling crisis starting now. I have one made with two in the works right now, I need to get another energy boost to cut my stored plastic :.p

Also of a floating bottle island. But this is the first I heard of "bricks" made from plastic. I wonder how they stop them from breaking down? Thank you for the recycling crisis article! Even before this virus, there were issues of recycled materials being shipped off to burn rather than recycled. That's why I encourage people to Reduce, but most importantly Rethink what they use. What sort of plastic do you use & what can we do to help you cut down further? That is maybe an idea we can work on here. Help the members cut down.

You have to keep the bricks out of the sun, that breaks plastic down way fast.
But yeah, reducing and reusing need to be done way more. Recycling is always going to be important, especially for those who are unable to safely reduce (or can't afford to reduce) but the ones who Can have to try. I use pretty much all plastics right now. I live at my grandparents after two hurricanes this year messed up my house so there isnt anything I can do to reduce right now, but I've been doing research on zero waste/low waste alternatives to things.

Never heard of them! May be useful. Won't they deteriorate?

Never heard of them! May be useful. Won't they deteriorate? You would think they would after awhile.
