healthypets.mercola.com/sites/healthypets/archive/2021/04/27/how-can-you-tell-the-age-of-a-cat.aspx Story at-a-glance Kittens and cats with unknown histories often have unknown ages as well, and determining how old a kitty is can be challenging There are a few clues to look for to help you make an educated guess at your cat’s age involving body size, the teeth and eyes, grooming habits, and health status It’s easier to gauge a kitten’s age than an adult cat’s, despite the fact that newborns fly through the five stages of kittenhood from week 1 through week 6 Cats advance through the stages of their lives much faster than humans, for example, a 2-year-old cat is the equivalent of a 24-year-old human My notes: Interesting way to tell!

I read somewhere where it's greater at the beginning and then gets less and less.

Cats can really age very well. They look so good when they are kittens and lively but when they get old, they seem to become more cautious. The oldest cat that I've seen is about 30 years old. He really looked old.
