I'm not sure how old our TVs are. Just like with everything else, we use it until we can't fix it anymore lol I don't believe in the Smart technology. Too much Big Brother for me.

I won't be replacing soon either. Not for another couple of years. It is hard to keep up with all those change in " trend ".

We just bought a new TV for our living room. We previously had an ancient hand-me-down from my grandmother. She's very hard of hearing and keeps the volume extremely high, so the speakers were not in very good shape. XD

I want to assemble the next one. But a good quality panel is very hard to procure. I have a lot of crazy ideas to try.

I've had my small TV for at least 14 years. Will not be upgrading it unless it breaks down.

14 years ?? That must be of a very good quality. All good products are which does not belong to this decade. Now everything is "replace when new arrives".

My current TV is around 5 year old and it seems like the TV is not in a good shape. But in near future I may consider buying a new TV and even consider having it in the place where I can easily watch it. As of now I am just keeping it placed in the table which is not a safe place.

That is an old model, right ? Wonderful that you still have it. They last for ever, until eternity unless we take it away from the table in favour of a flat screen.

It’s a very old tv I had to unplug it cause there was a weird smell coming from the back of it. At least a flat screen I can lift it on my own.

Ok. I had somewhat the same issue with my old monitor. It was more or less like the old day TV. It served us really long. It was so good, flat monitors didn't persuade us with it going fine.

I had an old tube tv that finally quit working after 8 years. I went to Best Buy in February and bought a Samsung LG flat screen on sale. Love the picture quality!

I think my TV is around 2-years old. Anyway, despite what some say, I think those thin TVs will last 5 years. Well, my computer monitor is maybe 7 years old and still going.

My current TV is 3 years old. I have no plans to buy another TV for at least 5 years. I use the TV only to watch sports, I sometimes watch the news channels but not much. I would have never subscribed to Cable TV if it was not for an additional feature from my internet service provider.

I just got a new TV and there is no need to change it. That's a smart TV and has all the features needed for the modern TV.

Mie is 10 years old still it is a CRT TV and working perfectly. I am not looking to upgrade at all and neither interested in it. We see most of them are attached to mobiles and computers so no more interested in watching TV.
I am looking what will come after this LED TV's in the market.

Not sure how old it is actually but probably around 4-5 years. It still works great and is not that old in terms of features so I don't think we will replace it for a while

Mine is 2 years old and just started to have issues, not happy about it as Samsung should be a top brand, but I guess I got a bad one off the assembly line. Guess I need to go tv shopping this weekend, spend money I don't have >_<
