www.deliciousliving.com/supplements/beautiful-mushrooms “You might have heard of medicinal mushrooms before, and you might have even taken a medicinal mushroom supplement, but did you know that they can also play a role in your beauty routine? It’s true! Here’s why you’ll want to give your beauty cabinet a mushroom-themed overhaul.” My notes: A good guide on the mushrooms out there, some trivia, & where you can find these in.

Interesting read; I pick mushrooms every year around and about in the fields where we live.

I do love mushrooms and have tried some medicinal ones, like reishi & cordyceps as a vitamin, but not all of them.
I know I haven't tried any of the personal care & beauty products. Will have to look into that:-)

Yeah, I know about that from my wife. She's a professor of botany, and we normally discuss on such type of things.
We are also cultivating mushrooms in our backyard. But that is eatable one, not the one that contains medinical properties. 😊

www.naturalawakenings.com/2021/08/31/365620/foraged-fungi-fare-cooking-with-wild-mushrooms “Wild mushrooms can infuse exciting new flavors and textures into familiar dishes, along with a taste of the local terroir, the natural habitat, from woods to plate. “I first encountered wild mushrooms through local foragers, then later from specialty food purveyors who would fly mushrooms from around the world into our kitchen. They were the most unique ingredients I could find, offering colors, flavors and textures I had never experienced … pure catnip for a chef,” says Alan Bergo, a Minnesota chef and author of The Forager Chef’s Book of Flora. Recipes at Forager Chef feature more than 60 species of wild edible fungi, from common deer mushrooms to prized porcinis….” My notes: Who has cooked wild mushrooms? I have to admit, I haven’t. While I don’t mind foraging for flowers, mushrooms I am more cautious with. Emerald, lainee, razor1911

You are wise not to try random options.
