www.naturalnews.com/2020-08-11-ways-to-reduce-plastic-waste-in-your-garden.html"Plastic has a much bigger role in gardens than one might realize. From disposable seed packets to plastic pots, the presence of plastic in small home gardens is more ubiquitous than it seems at first glance. Its impact can be just as big, too. Health and gardening expert Susannah Shmurak notes that hundreds of thousands of pounds of horticultural plastic often end up in landfills across the U.S. These include plastic from artificial fertilizers, landscape fabric and gardening tools...." My notes: Good tips to help lessen our dependency on plastic products. If you can it in bulk, it's cheaper too. We get dirt either delivered or we take a trailer to pick it up. We've tried the cardboard method for weeds. Then we just rake it up & compost it. Have 5 rain barrels. What about you? Bob Emerald lainee lifespot ninamiles @shaliza spg stluee T.T. twistedpingu

Buying in bulk is the better way to go unless you are willing to clean out the bags and recycle. Unfortunately, most people don’t have that option.

I think using the clay based products for various garden keeping would definitely help but the tools often do have the plastic so not a lot can be done about it. That is what I have learned so far, it's just that we can replace most tools with wood base.
