It IS hard to break the sugar habit. But, there are ways to minimize it by making better choices. We've switched to all organic sugars...white, brown, powdered. And, we also use stevia and monk fruit, which helps a lot.
Even my dark chocolate candy has organic sugar in it, so I don't feel too guilty :-)

It is always a big no from me for artificial sweeteners. I used to use Aspartame many years ago & only when I stopped did my continual headaches go away. Back then, I never associated the connection between the 2.
