Can you survive without A/C ? I am training myself to survive in natural climate conditions. For fun of course..

Air conditioning is not normalized in houses over here in the UK so most people tend to have fans. I definitely can't survive without a fan during the summer months so I wouldn't survive without A/C if I got used to that.

I have 2 big floor model a/c's. One is 10,000 b.t.u.'s and the other is 11.000. Along with my fans it is quite cool in my place in he summer. I couldn't bear it without them.

I suppose I could, if I HAD to...for instance, if we had no power. Otherwise, nope, I'd rather not

I don't think I will be able to survive without A/C. It's just too hot around where I live and I feel like I would melt, if I stay out for long. My family is kinda worried about me and they believe that, my immunity would take a hit at this rate, but I just can't help it.
Even now, just going outside in the afternoon for a few minutes, to get the clothes from the washing machine would make me dizzy. Thinking about it, I really need to avoid A/C a little.

Here in Australia is extremely hot during summer so we cannot survive with just a fan alone all though a fan is better then nothing.

It depends on the area, though people did survive in places like the South USA or Australia before air conditioning. Anyway, there are ways to adapt like building homes a certain way. I mean, have you ever noticed basements have some heat resistance. Anyway, a big problem is that a person can wear clothing to stop cold but it's a lot tougher to stop heat. Well, less clothes can stop heat somewhat, but it's nothing like how putting on a warm hat can stop cold.

I can survive with the air conditioning system but it's definitely going to be very challenging for me. This is because I sweat a lot and I need the room cool.

Most establishments in the UK don’t have air conditioning apart from Supermarkets which have it installed to maintain temperatures for cooler items. However with global warming I wouldn’t be surprised that most residential houses will soon be fitted with Air Con in the UK but it’s expensive to run and maintain.
I don’t have it at my house, and when it gets warm I use an air humidifier and opening the windows to improve ventilation.
