This is something I definitely should be working on for myself. I even notice something as small as clearing out my junk mail, postal & online, makes me feel better.

I lead a simple regulated life, helps me to feel in control. I prefer my life to be routine and uneventful. Clutter free and neat/tidy.

Yeah, I like having things uncluttered and organized. The longer you let it go, the more overwhelming it becomes so you have to control it before it gets out of hand. A cluttered house is one step away from a hoarder’s house.

Decluttering is a constant practice in my house. Some days it feels like a never ending feat but oh what a wonderful feeling walking into a room knowing that everything in it has its own place. It's not always easy to keep it that way though with a toddler. lol
Buying is not so much the issue it's the gifts given that's our downfall. I feel guilty for letting go of things that people gift us so I try to give those things purpose in our home.

My family hasn't given each other physical gifts in a very long time. We instead think of outings we like to do together or just have a nice family meal & play games.
