While we love our pets, we do not always extend the same warmth towards animals that is only a wall apart. What is your case ?

The neighbors across the street 2 doors down have 3 kittens about 4 or 5 months old. One of them a grey male has gotten quite attached to me, and me to him.
Right next door to me is a huge black and white tomcat, we are also cool. I like him because he beats up all the stray cats and keeps them away. lol

We live rural & everybody around here has acreage. We've had some dogs in the back of our property! Stray cats are another one. We have our cats to a fenced outdoor enclosure from our walkout basement with a cat door. Our cats are fixed; the strays are not so they tend to 'mark their territory' & it just stinks! While I love animals, I do get irritated when people just let theirs roam. Not to mention the stray cats kill birds at my feeders.

We like all pets but if there is a problem, we blame the owner, not the pet.

It seems like everyone on my block has a dog but us and a few others. I love animals so I'm always friendly and have even taken care of the ones across the street when the neighbors went on vacation. The only thing I don't like is when the neighbors allow them to bark endlessly. That's not the pet's fault really.
