www.familyhandyman.com/article/prepare-garden-winter-two-days "For a healthy spring landscape, spend a fall weekend winterizing your yard. Before you put your feet up and settle in for the garden off-season, dedicate a few days to preparing your lawn and garden for fall and winter. Follow these simple steps to tidy up and prep your yard for a long winter nap in just one weekend...." My notes: Frankly, I take a good month preparing lol This is for those people who like to put off to the last minute

www.birdsandblooms.com/gardening/gardening-basics/improve-soil-quality"These easy ways to treat and improve your garden soil quality now and through winter will set you up for a successful spring growing season...." My notes: What do you do? Do you add compost, mulch? Any other tips you have that may help others? I honestly just let it go. I focus more in the spring for improving than in the winter. lainee, spg, Bob,

We just clean some of it up. Keep the leaves on as decaying matter and compost.

My beds are small, so I only need a day and mostly it's just trimming stuff, laying some ground up leafs/grass on top of the bed then to wait and plan for spring

We let everything die off and then burn the yard/woods. Prescribed burning is the best route to take, IMO.
