www.naturalawakenings.com/2021/10/29/371664/simple-ways-to-reduce-microplastic-exposure"Plastic is a petrochemical-based, non-biodegradable pollution nightmare. As discarded water bottles and shampoo containers pile up for hundreds of years in landfills, we continue to produce more and more of the stuff. Meanwhile, plastic breaks down into microparticles that contaminate waterways, air, soil and even snow. They show up in foods and beverages we consume. While more research is needed to understand the human health impacts of microplastics, here are some ways to avoid ingesting these tiny particles...." My notes: It's important to do all we can to reduce the toxic overload our bodies & environment ingests.

A simple case is bottled water. There is nothing more dangerous than it.

ZandraJoi, Great article...some of it I knew, some I didn't. Yeah, those little plastic particles are everywhere! spg, you're so right, a case of bottled water is a big part of the problem.

God knows why people do not care when they pollute the environment. There is so much that we can't fix once it is broken.

God knows why people do not care when they pollute the environment. There is so much that we can't fix once it is broken. & people are just getting worse & worse! It always irks me when I see litterbugs. There was a time my husband was driving home & saw this lady try to dump a Mattress! into the ditch. He stopped & said some things to her. Just 'cos it's rural with no people around, doesn't mean you can just dump it. I get irritated with plastic wrappers, cigarette butts, etc. People are caring less & less for their own selves, they definitely don't for the environment & its creatures.
