My notes: We used to have one that emitted ozone, this was back in the day. Not sure if it helped or not. Have you tried one?

We tried the Electrostatic one...I remember it made a crackling/popping noise. Don't recall that it did much good and had to be cleaned more often.

Yes, we had one for years. We liked them but they were expensive and didn't last long. Maybe five years.
