Have you run into issues with the house owner when you live in a rented place ? I think that is a common thing until we buy a house of our own.

I've only rented once & that was shortly after we were married 'cos we couldn't get a mortgage due to not having credit even tho we had a nice size down payment. We only lived there maybe 3 months. I honestly couldn't hack it as it was in the city & I'm used to the country. I know the landlady was quite strict about keeping the lawn mowed & other things.

It is not easy when you have jobs that change location. If you are to move from one city to another, there is no other way than renting a house or a flat to live. The whole process might not go well sometimes.
And for those who lived in quiet places, the city is a bit too much.

Yes, landlords often just want to collect rent without having to pay out for repairs. While they are legally required to fix things, it is sometimes difficult to enforce especially if you don't have very much money.

During the early days of my career, I had some bad landlords. But we managed to switch homes without problem if someone is too rude.

We had some problems cleaning it and name pointing. However, we did finally clean it up, but sadly the home was sold the next month. I don't know why he sold it and if the cause was the mess.

Currently, I'm still living in a rented apartment but it's not going to be for long. My own family house should be completed by the end of the year by God's grace.

I've been living in this rented house 5 years now. The landlady used to live in it.

Me and my dad currently live in a very small rented home, it could be bigger but it works for our needs and the landlord is a pretty cool guy. Might see if he will sell us the place come next contract signing next year.

Yes, I have lived in a house of a total di*k landlord. I got a leaking roof and he refused to fix it. I refused to pay my rent. It was a big tussle for us.

Never had this problem. I'm too nice of a guy. In the end, it's always more better to have your own house. You won't have anything to worry about silly landlords.

The last time I was renting from a housing association. The housing association in question demanded ridiculously high rent and service charges, while refusing to pay or fix any of the repairs. Excessive mould and damp issues were present for a long time.
