www.naturalawakenings.com/2021/11/30/374615/greening-the-holidays-how-to-celebrate-sustainably"With every record-setting storm and catastrophic fire, more people are realizing that we are embroiled in a climate crisis. Consider this holiday season as an opportunity not just to make sustainable choices, but also to take strategic action that positively impacts the planet and inspires friends and family to join the environmental cause. Whether that means modifications to the holiday dinner, eco-friendly decorating tactics or responsible gifting, every environmental choice can be a teaching moment or conversation starter. Together, we can make a difference...." My notes: It's one of the reasons we stopped doing gifts & cards. We spend time, not money, on our loved ones & friends. We already eat mostly organic so our meals are naturally that.

Definitely, making sustainable choices just makes sense. A lot more people are catching on and doing just that. Having conversations with family members and friends is the best way to get more input & ideas. Different ways to help, to change things for the better. And, the more you do it, the easier it gets

If I see something I know somebody would like, I just get it and give it to them. I don’t need to wait for Christmas.
