www.familyhandyman.com/list/things-you-should-never-pour-down-the-drain "It might be convenient to just rinse with water and flush it down the drain. But trust us, it’s worth it to throw it in the trash instead...." My notes: Some are self-explanatory but others a lot of people do. Eggshells, grease, flour, medication, produce stickers, coffee grounds, products claiming to be 'flushable', cleaning products, paper products, expandable food, paint.

Yep, so convenient...until you have to unclog your drain. We have a garden so a lot of food waste is turned into 'compost'. And, if we can't recycle it, it gets burned :-)

More you put down the drain, more damage can be done to the drain.

We deal with different types of waste separately. Making sure that we can recycle whatever we can or safely get rid of them.

Grease and coffee grounds are the worst, I did it once with grease and learned a lesson when I did not rinse with hot water. That was the last time I did that LOL

Least you put in your drain, the better you are.

Yeah, we try to not pour that much down our drain. Because of an old tenant at our apt complex, our drains clog quickly and easily. It is super annoying and inconvenient.
