i.e. B-A-T-H, W-A-L-K? Do you find they learned how to spell? LOL I don't think it's so much they learned to spell than they learn the pronunciations. My husband & I would spell out words for Treat, Walk, otherwise our dog would get too excited. But our dog is catching on with what we are saying anyways lol

Our dog used to know "walk" but that's because the "w" probably caught her ear. We spelled treat out too at times and she didn't know it.

This reminds me of the episode of Frasier when he and Niles are trying to give the dog a bath. They start speaking French so that the dog doesn't understand. ^^
