healthypets.mercola.com/sites/healthypets/archive/2022/03/29/chronic-cough-in-cats.aspx Story at-a-glance A chronic cough is one that lasts more than 2 to 3 weeks, and in cats is almost always a sign of an underlying disorder or disease There are several feline conditions that have coughing as a symptom; however, the most common cause is chronic bronchopulmonary disease — a group of conditions that includes feline asthma Because there are so many potential causes of chronic coughing in cats, it’s very important to insist on an accurate diagnosis Treatment involves identifying and resolving the underlying cause of the cough, as well as alleviating the cough itself My notes: We've been fortunate to have coughing in our pets. Have you had a cat with a cough?

They used to tell us cats have deadly coughing disease when we were kids. It was said they all had tuberculosis 😂 but it was all cat's myth. I've had my cats for years and they never had cough.
