www.familyhandyman.com/article/signs-youre-overwatering-your-plants "Before you water your plants again, check for signs that you may actually be watering them too much. The only plant I’m sure I’ve never overwatered is a water lily I grew in a tub of water. Aquatic plants are adapted to having their roots in water, but most other plants, both indoors and outdoors, may languish or die when overwatered...." My notes: I've had fungus gnats in my houseplants. What I had to do is get the bottom waterers. Having plants is like having pets, you have to "know" them. Understand them & their needs. Some of my flowers need more water than others.

Seems to be a struggle, yet again, to keep my bell peppers watered this year, might have slightly overwatered? Not sure, they aren't doing well and I think I'll be in the red on trying to grow my sweet yellow bell pepers Gardening can suck sometimes.

If you make proper drainage then their is no worry in over watering, just water once in a day and you are in correct way. i would suggest to choose an automatic watering to the plants so they can water when the plant needs or by timely you made. demonskeith, Their could be several reasons for not doing well so check it wisely and also post some images here so anyone can guide you.
