Do you use gardening gloves? I don't use gardening gloves, I like gardening without gloves. I like to feel the plants and soil with my bare hands. Yes, of courses hands get dirty and sometimes even get bruises, but it feels so good to touch plants with your hands.

Yeah, I start out with gloves, but end up tossing them.

nomad, lainee, I used to use gloves but with the gardening type, my nails would get dirty anyways so I just don't bother. Now, at the beginning of the season when I have an overgrowth of weeds, I do use them as other creatures may be lurking thruout. After that, I just go bare handed. I find I can grip the weeds faster.

I have never bought these gloves and loves to play in the mud, but wearing gardening gloves is recommended. From my childhood we all use our own hands directly to dig the soil, even now too.

I use gloves while using tools to protect my hands, when it comes to putting plants in the ground, then I take them off so the rough gloves don't damage the plant. I've made that mistake before
