Do you know that Chinese electronics cost less than half and they are much ahead in quality. But yes, political differences make them a hard choice.
Are you in favour of purchasing a product from local market irrespective of political views?

I am buying chinese products most of the time since we don't have an alternative. Example most of the chips comes from china market.
As per political views politcians are almost scammers here as they offered us 18 percent tax on most of the items. We got tired from political people and none is their for good governancy.

The market is predominately from Chinese production. Even if items are assembled in the United States or other parts of the world, most likely there are some parts manufactured from China. I don't see this changing anytime in the foreseeable future, even iPhones are designed in CA but manufactured in China

To be honest, some of them are really good. Cheap labour does not always mean bad product. Just like any market, choose a leading brand.

There is no way I can avoid Chinese electronics. I use a Samsung phone, which is a Korean brand but manufactured in China. I use a Dell laptop, which is an American brand but manufactured in China.

I will try to buy from US companies when I can I like the company responsible for say my phone exploding to be under US law. However, I really don't have any issues with Chinese tech for daily users as I honestly don't care if China is hoarding my meme library nor do I think them hoarding my meme library is a practical national security threat to the US.

I guess if they use military force in Taiwan, a lot of things will change.
