Weekends are times one should rest from the activities of the week. When your boss at your workplace starts making plans for jobs to be executed on Sundays, can you be free to take part?

I will not work in such a company. Not for long at the least.

henrywrites, spg, Did you mean if you are already working Saturdays? Then that would equate to having no time off. Most jobs are Monday to Friday. Weekends are for Overtime. I would have no problem working Sunday if I had that Saturday off. But while I worked Overtime on occasion, it's not something I wanted to do every single weekend.

There are jobs where you will have to attend " small things " on weekends.

At my current M-F job, I would not work Sundays, or any weekends for that matter. They don't allow us to work overtime per out contract with the government so if I'm not getting paid, I would not put in extra hours of work

I rather not work the weekend. I have worked Saturdays but I won't work Saturdays and Sundays together.

I worked retail, so naturally working the weekends, both Saturday and Sunday was a common thing, which Sundays sucked the most, but I usually had Mondays off which was nice, allowed me to do stuff without having to fight crowds. Now I have weekends off and hope it stays that way forever.
