www.familyhandyman.com/project/how-to-build-a-greenhouse"Extend your growing season with this greenhouse you can build yourself...." My notes: Any of you have a greenhouse? You thought of building one yourself? Unfortunately, we don't have one here but I'd love to have one! Be nice to have home-grown veggies later in the year.

What are optimal temperatures in the greenhouse? My 6x8' polycarbonate gets over 100 degrees when the sun is out.

A good temp would be around 80-85°F or 26-29°C. If it gets too hot, especially if it's direct sunlight, you may notice your plants wilting. If it's possible, can you move it to a more shaded location?

I wouldn't mind building a small one just to jump start seed in the early spring, buying plants is so expensive these days. Anything that saves money is a plus for me.

What are optimal temperatures in the greenhouse? My 6x8' polycarbonate gets over 100 degrees when the sun is out. These temperature require for plants and it depends upon the nature of plant. If you want lower or higher temperatures then adjust your shade net. I see 100 degrees which is too hot for us and a 40 degrees we are unable to go out. Which location you got this temperature?
