We had a hill station which was known for its natural beauty. After a couple of decades, it is a concrete jungle.
Have you seen such kind of development in areas near you?

We live out in the country and new housing is going up in areas where I thought they never would put a house. It's a shame to lose all the lovely wooded areas.

Yeah, if there's open ground, seems like they pounce on it! Too bad...wish they'd leave some of it alone!

The good thing about our area, in order to build a house, you need at least 3 acres! I get irked seeing so many developments, buildings tearing down good land.

Yeah unfortunately where I live, they've been tearing down wooded areas to build more houses. I miss the days when my town had lots of wooded areas, but now there's a campaign to "renew" my town...

Once there was a resort inside a national park in our country that was designated a UNESCO world heritage site. However, when the government came under fire from environmentalists for allowing a resort to operate inside the National Park, it was shut down.

We got a new town springing up outside of my living area, kind of sad to see all the nice open farm lands now going into another city, a true shame

Here too people are building homes even their is a tree to give oxygen. I am seeing a lot of development with buildings, but not with nature loving so this wont survive for a long time.
It looks you are a lucky to open a resort and start to do business since most people love to visit hill stations.
