Some video games are very violent. Do you think they influence their players to be violent in real life? If so, what should we do about it?

Certainly. Some of them should never reach children.

I think the violence in games are over the top & kids are not being taught that there is fake & real. I grew up watching Wile E Coyote falling off cliffs but I also learned it was "just" a cartoon. Now, video games are so life-like, realistic featuring human beings in real-life scenarios, I can see how it could incite violence in some people. Not all mind you, again, kids have to be taught that it is JUST a game. If they are not taught that, they won't be able to separate fact from fiction.

Some video games are fine...but the majority of them are way too violent. Players, mostly kids, need to learn there is reality and then there's fantasy. Otherwise, they go out into society and cause havoc. There's enough violence already...without adding harmful video games to the mix.

Yes, I believe they influence violence. Kids don't learn the difference.

Thats hard to say. People were extremely violent in the middle ages (pretty much all throughout history) and they didn't have video games to blame it on.
