How do you take when neighbourhood children mistreat you garden? They are children after all.

Yes, they are children...but that doesn't excuse bad behavior.
Even as a kid, it never occurred to me to trash someone's garden.

If children came into my garden and ruined it, it would be once and once only that would happen.

I agree with lainee, Emerald. While they are kids, they can still have manners & learn respect. It's trespassing to come into another's yard. We've had kids tamper with various things when I was growing up. Unfortunately, their parents didn't really care. Fortunately, legal action didn't have to be taken.

Kids often steal fruit from our fruit trees, but as long as they don't damage anything we don't really care. Our main gardens are in a fenced-in yard, so there would be other concerns about them getting to the garden (like how did the dogs handle that idea) before we would need to worry about the gardens themselves.

I would take the issues up with the kid's parents, make them reimburse me for all the ruined planets and time. It would take several summer jobs for the kid to pay it off lol.

Don't want neighbor kids on our property. They have no right to trespass.

I would please them and behave friendly with them so it can be solved, if you mistreat this kids, then the Garden would get spoiled further more. Kids only stay at home during holidays so their is no time for them spoiling Garden.
