Would you ever want one? Our houses never had them & where I grew up, we didn’t either. They are quite nostalgic but I wouldn’t want one for the upkeep.

No, never had a fireplace or wanted one. We used to have a wood-burning stove in the basement years ago, but that's different.

Yes, never use it though. I need to have the chimney cleaned.

We too don't have, but we cook food on the wooden sticks so this can be used to warm our body during rainy and wunter season. If you have fireplace room, then it can keep very warm as I have seen in my relative house a long back.

Nope and everyone that I know that does have one, really don't use it. I think cleaning and maintaining it is a bit of a pain. Though given this past cold winter, would have loved to have one.

We don't have that at the moment. Not the type of thing that I need to bother about now.

Nope, it's not something that I would want in my house. We now have heaters all thanks to technology.

I have fireplace because it serves in cloud days on winter. I don't have one here because I like the cold weather more than when there is heat. I prefer staying where the cold weather is.

My friend's cat run up his fire place chimney one time. It was a struggle before he was able to get his cat down from there.

Yes, but the fireplace isn’t operational. It’s more there for visual appearance to give the property the ‘warm’ feeling. The chimney is blocked, so unless I unblocked it - it’s got to stay for the visual effects only.
