Would you rather only be able to use a fork (no spoon) or a spoon (no fork)? I will choose a spoon. Yes, fork you can stab foods with but to get the rest out, you need the spoon.

I will pick a spoon if I need help to get the food I can use my finger.

I would have to go with only a spoon. I feel that going with a spoon would be my safest bet as I could pick up almost all food with a spoon whereas with a fork, things like soup, stew and such would be really difficult with a fork. For anything that I would not be able to pick up with the spoon I could always use my fingers as well.

Spoon.
Because of my tremors though I use a titanium spork. Works wonderfully.
