Regardless of a religious affiliate, people do like this show. It ran for 11 seasons from 1996 to 2007. Starred Stephen Collins who was the pastor & Catherine Hicks was his wife who also learned to be the fixer in the house. They have seven children. Was a nice family show, with some good moral undertones. Made you laugh in some areas but also encouraged you to think as well as cry. Tidbit: At the start of the series' 10th season, it became the longest running family drama on TV beating out Little House on the Prairie (1974) & The Waltons (1972), both of which aired for nine seasons. I liked this when it first came out, but as the later seasons developed, & while I still watched it, the writing didn’t capture me like it used to. Who watched this & what is your opinion? What could have been done differently?
