When you do laundry, do you wait until you get one type together to wash? i.e. all towels? All whites? I used to sort them but now, I just put them all together. I just deal with the bit of extra lint & I don’t need to have sparkling white socks.

Doing laundry? What's that? My wife does it so I don't screw it up.

I like to do it Friday and Saturday but that doesn't always work out.

If there's enough for a load, I just do it...I don't sort them at all

I do darks, whites and sheets separate; but, I will combine the darks and whites together in the dryer though.

With there being 5 of us in the house, I tend to do laundry at least 3 - 4 times a week. It's not too bad when we are in the Spring, Summer, and Autumn months as they are able to be dried outside much of the time but when you get to Winter like we are now, drying them outside is not always possible and with the energy price hike, using my dryer is a no go at the moment due to how much it costs which is a shame. So even though I only wash a few times a week it can feel longer during the winter months to get everything washed, dried and folded due to how I have to dry it in the house.

Both my spouse and I never separate whites from colored clothing, we just end up putting everything together. I honestly don't see my in laws separating whites from colored stuff either, though I barely have anything white in my wardrobe to begin with, just a few socks and a pair of shorts.

It sort of depends. I do my sheets and towels together and depending on how much I have in the way of whites/dark clothing then it either gets done in two loads or one.

I haven't used a dryer in 15 some years. I don't hang them outside. We have 2 rooms I use for hanging up laundry. The basement has a room that is quite warm in the winter however without the furnace running, I have a room upstairs I hang them up for the warmer months. I cannot imagine using a dryer lol

I wash my clothes based on their colours. I'm never mixing them up incase there's one that spills the colour in water so it doesn't mess up the other clothes.

I wash mine together but in cold water which helps the colors not run. Granted, I'm more careful with new clothes & wash them with like colors in case.

Unless it's new, I just throw all whites and colors together, I might notice a bit of a tint, but I don't care much. I just do three loads once a week, towels, bedsheets and my clothing.

Doing laundry? What's that? My wife does it so I don't screw it up. It's the same thing with me and it's my sister who helps me to do my laundry. I don't always have the time to do it, so whenever my clothes are due, I would call her over and she will help me do it.

The last time I had some of my clothes ruined after washing them all together taught me a very big lesson. I would never risk it again even if I knew the coloured clothes won't run when being washed.
