I only use Microsoft Word. I've seen commercials for Grammarly & if I got more serious, I may look into other avenues. However for now, I know enough of Word & am used to it for it to do all the jobs I require. That's one of the things that puts me off about trying another. Having to take all that time to LEARN it. I've been using Word for 20 some years & I still learn more tips & tricks. What software do you like to use for writing & editing?

I typically use Microsoft Word, and sometimes I'll even use Chat GPT to help me get started with brainstorming or organizing of ideas. Of course, sometimes I'm writing on my forum, which I find is really nice because I can write this anywhere I can get online (even save drafts), and I'm not distracted by all the fancy stuff that Word has built in now. It usually has spell check too. However, if I'm writing for fanfiction.net, they pretty much insist on documents being uploaded in Microsoft Word format, so I'll just use that if I'm planning on publishing there.

I don't use a large percentage that Word has to offer. & learning it gives me too much of a headache. I've been known to write drafts in emails! Just don't put an address in the "To" lol
