www.familyhandyman.com/article/how-to-clean-an-air-fryer "To keep your air-fried food crispy and delicious, learn how to clean an air fryer after each meal. It's easier than you might expect!..." My notes: We tried an Air Fryer but it wasn’t for us. This may help those who have one. How do you clean yours? Do you like using one?

It is a device that seems to click with certain people, I know a lot that didn't care for it, but some do seem to love it. I'm not a huge fan of it, I just rather grab a regular pan.

I got an air fryer for Christmas, but I have not used it yet. I should start using it because I have collected so many recipes for it. Just been too lazy.

It is recommended for cooking a portion of healthy food as I see on TV emission for cooking with an air fryer is better than using oil that could generate unhealthy food.

We don't have an air fryer. However, I have been thinking about buying it for some time because of the hype that it cooks healthy meals.

I'm really liking ours. More or less on a lark, I got a cheapie model on an after-Christmas sale at the beginning of January and it's great for late snacks that would otherwise get tough or soggy in the microwave. I've even thrown a pita in there to crisp it up a bit to have with a rice bowl with some hummus or cheese.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE our air fryer!!
We use it all the time to cook chicken drumsticks and I've had 2 different air fryers and learned that the cheaper Chinese version takes longer to cook and is more difficult to clean.
We now have a Ninja and here's how I cook my drumsticks:
I spray Pam spray on them lightly because they need a little oil to get crispy and then I sprinkle season salt on them. That's it. They go into the air fryer for about 18 minutes (24 on the Chinese one) and they come out like fried chicken! So good.
I like Asparagus in them too but haven't done it in a while.
Frozen french fries are amazing and only take about 12 minutes depending on the cut of the fry.
Garlic bread takes about 6-8 minutes.

My husband & I love french fries but doing it in the deep fryer is 1- messy, 2- takes a lot of oil, 3- is caloric. We may have to rethink the Air Fryer. How do they come out versus in the oven? The oven just doesn't get crispy enough; not like the deep fryer. Thank you for the chicken recipe.

When I buy the frozen ones though, they're amazing!! The timing isn't the same for all of them, so it's something we have to keep an eye on and shake the container every few minutes.
