For those not familiar with the difference: iPod is more for music, smaller, no internet, no games nor apps. iPad is a tablet, larger, has internet, games & apps.
I don't care for either but I would prefer an iPad because then I could still have music via websites whereas an iPod is JUST for music.

I hate answering questions with just a negative response but in this case there's no choice.
I wouldn't have either. In fact, I won't have ANY Apple product, including their streaming service.

I've never been impressed or interested by Ipads, i just don't like tablets in general. I used to love my Ipod though! Had some great times with that.

Neither. Over priced as far as I am concerned. We have never had an Apple product in the home and never will.

If you are doing a work with concentration then iPod is not best solution since music could disturb your concentration except if the work doesn't require much attention from you and you are just doing something casual like cooking or cleaning the room. iPad must be best solution since mobile phone becomes very slow due to number of apps installed so additional space.
