My notes: I wasn’t born yet lol so I’ve only seen the red color. "Yellow wasn’t their first choice, however. I've read that there are still some yellow stop signs used in the U.S. but I've yet to see one.

I've read that there are still some yellow stop signs used in the U.S. but I've yet to see one.
Most likely in small and rural areas that don't have money to replace what works.
I've heard my grandparents say similar things as well, though I always thought they were red and they were pulling my leg.
