www.familyhandyman.com/article/how-to-turn-your-aaa-batteries-into-aa-batteries"Knowing this hack, plus a basic understanding of battery voltage, can really help you out in a pinch. Whether they’re powering your stud finder, laser level or TV remote, batteries are a crucial part of our everyday lives. So when I discovered this hack that turns your AAA batteries into AA batteries, it not only blew my mind, but saved me from making emergency battery runs on numerous occasions...." My notes: Anybody heard of this or tried it? I haven't for both lol Included: What is the Hack for Using AAA Batteries in Place of AA Batteries? But Aren’t AAA Batteries Smaller and Therefore Less Powerful? Why The Aluminum Foil Hack Works Final Thoughts

Always nice to be able to use batteries when you realize that you're out or someone took the last one without saying anything lol. I wonder if this trick would work for AAAA batteries?

I haven't had a use for AAAA batteries but I don't see why not. I haven't tried it but I have no doubt it works. I agree!

This is actually interesting. I always remember as a kid, if the metal spring in a toy or something had broken somehow she used to put foil in place of that and place the battery inside and that would work to keep the toy running. This definitely seems like it would work. At the moment I only have AAA batteries and I know I have something that needs AA batteries replaced but I don't have any and every time I forget to pick them up. I may try this in a little bit to see if it works

Now this is interesting! I've never thought to do this, I'd probably wouldn't do this trick with my Xbox controllers since I would be weary of the voltage causing damage to the controller. Now I might use this trick on a lower powered electronic, such as my tv remote.

Well, it looks interesting. I hope it works for me whenever I get the opportunity or chance to try it out. I'm looking forward to it.

I actually tried this in the device I needed the AA batteries in when I didn't have AA batteries. I used the foil and the AAA batteries and it actually worked. My only issue I noticed is that I didn't add enough foil so the AAA batteries would instead slip and the device would stop working. I can confirm though that this does work
